Emma Hardy MP questions Prime Minister on de-escalation of conflict in Syria

I have just spoken in the Prime Minister’s Syria statement. This is what I said:

Many of my constituents in Hull West and Hessle have contacted me with their fears surrounding potential escalation of conflict with Russia and the fact that we might be sleepwalking toward it, and concerns that their voices were not heard before she launched an attack because as their MP I was unable to debate this issue.

Can the Prime Minister please reassure this House that the government has a plan for de-escalation of the conflict now that air strikes have taken place and that her decision to take action without a parliamentary vote has not set a precedent for the future.
