As the sun has begun making an appearance and we have had some hot days it feels like summer has finally arrived. There are all sorts of events over July and August in the constituency, especially for children, so I have collected them together here. Come to Tea! They say food is a universal language so what better way to bring the community together than a festival of food. Come to Tea! Is encouraging people to explore new quisines and ensure families get lovely, nutritious meals! If you live in the HU3 area, then definitely check it out! It began on the 18th but runs until the 28th. More details here. |

Pickering Park splashpool I’m really disappointed the Pickering Park splashpool isn’t open this summer. I have already written to the council in support of the campaign to get it working. Now the council has opened a consultation on refurbishment options with a promise it will be ready for summer 2025. Let them know people want it back and your opinions on the options. Let’s make sure what we get is what people really want. https://yoursay.hull.gov.uk/pickering-park-water-play-area Pickering Park events There are still events going on in Pickering Park over the summer.
