It’s been a week full of colour, creativity, and connection across Hull West and Haltemprice, with brilliant community events bringing people together.
🦋 Pickering Park Family Fun Day was a huge success, especially at the Hull Butterfly City stall! Over 100 pots were beautifully decorated and plenty of seeds planted, with the stall buzzing with activity right until the end. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and got involved. 🌿 Maurice Rawling Community Centre hosted a joyful celebration of its progress over the past year. The event featured delicious fresh food prepared by local residents using produce from the thriving community garden—think juicy tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, sweet strawberries, and vibrant sunflowers.
