Sign the Petition for Equal Bus Pass Rights Across Hull and the East Riding

Residents across Hull and the East Riding deserve to be treated fairly when it comes to concessionary bus travel.

At present, Hull residents who hold a bus pass can use it at any time of day. However, East Riding residents with the same type of pass are restricted to off-peak travel only. While these differences existed when transport was managed separately by each local authority, many people accepted that councils made decisions based on their own local priorities.

Now, however, transport is the responsibility of the Mayor, who represents both Hull and the East Riding. With one authority overseeing transport across the region, it is only fair that residents in both areas receive the same benefits.

We are calling on Mayor Luke Campbell to equalise bus pass terms across Hull and the East Riding, ensuring that all eligible residents can enjoy the same travel rights regardless of which side of the boundary they live on.

If you agree that bus pass holders should be treated equally across our region, please sign the petition and support the call for fairer travel for everyone.
