The Great Get Together is back and this year I’m joining forces with Constable Community Allotment to throw a big family fun day.
We have lots of fun activities planned for all the family including, Tiger’s Trust football skills, a fire engine, bug hunt, Butterfly City, live music and food and drink!
The Great Get Together was set up in memory of Jo Cox who was murdered in 2016. In her maiden speech to Parliament she said “we have more in common than that which divides.” After the success of last year’s Great Get Together at Peel Park, I am bringing The Great Get Together to the St Andrew’s area and asking residents to embrace Jo’s message and unite as a community for this day of fun.
The event will take place on Constable Street Allotments on Saturday 24th June starting at 12.30pm.
All are welcome.
