Emma Hardy MP today met with the CEO of BAE, Charles Woodburn at the company’s site in Brough to discuss the steps that can be taken to secure the longevity and future prosperity of the site.

This meeting follows a previous meeting with Mr Woodburn and other key stakeholders in Parliament on Monday 4th February. Emma has also asked several Parliamentary questions to the Ministry of Defence about issues such as securing more contracts for Hawk aircraft.

Commenting, Emma said “I can’t say too much at the moment, other than to thank the trade unions for helping to organise it. There will be more information available next week but I am reassured of his commitment to the Brough site and I reiterate my commitment to maintaining the high quality jobs at the site.”
