Emma Hardy, the MP for Hull West and Hessle has today visited the Hull Sorting Office to talk to local postal workers about their preparations for Christmas.
Emma visited the sorting office early in the morning of the 14th December to wish postal workers a Merry Christmas, present them with an early Christmas present and see how they deal with the huge number of parcels and cards at this time of year.
Emma said ‘Our posties work extremely hard throughout the year but Christmas is obviously a very busy time for them. It was fascinating to see how they go about sorting everything and making sure everything is sorted so that families can have a magical Christmas. On behalf of the whole of Hull West and Hessle, I’d like to say thank you for all of their hard work and I love your Christmas jumpers!’
