It’s fantastic that we now have a replica of Amy Johnson’s plane ‘Jason’ in Hull as a fitting tribute to Amy. Perfect timing with both careers week and international women’s day!
I was pleased to be at the unveiling in St Stephen’s today with Diana Johnson and we are also campaigning for Amy Johnson to be given the freedom of the city of Hull as women are under-represented. Lovely to catch up with Paul Matson too.
With National Women’s Day yesterday, the Women in Engineering event in Hull today, this is a great week for women, but I’ll continue to campaign to ensure every week is a great week for everyone who lives here!
