I was honoured to attend the 50th anniversary memorial service for the Triple Trawler Tragedy at The Minster this afternoon. This was to remember the 58 men who died and thousands of others who lost their lives at sea.
These men should never be forgotten and nor should the Headscarf Revolutionaries who fought to improve trawler safety and prevent countless future deaths.
Chiltern School choir sang beautifully during the service and it was good to have the opportunity to speak to the relatives and residents of the Hessle Road community.
