News Week Ahead

Week ahead w/c 26th August

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

This week is a busy one regarding the RE:uniform campaign I am running. For those that don’t know the RE:uniform campaign is a project that recycles uniforms and provides them to families across Hull.

As a member of the Education Select Committee, I have heard awful stories where some families in my contsituency have been struggling to afford school uniforms due to high prices, running a tight budget and soaring living costs such as food and travel. This campaign, along with my voice in Parliament demanding government action on uniform price rigging, is designed to help any family in Hull facing this worrisome issue.

The wonderful results from everyone’s hard work is that there are 3 events this coming week where any family can pop along and pick up some uniforms for no charge whatsoever:

Hessle Road Network, HU3 3LA. 10am – 1pm

Trinity Methodist, HU5 2EJ. 10am – 1pm

Tower Hill Methodist, HU13 0SP. 10am -1pm

And it is only with your kind and generous donations that we can keep this going, so please do bring along any unwanted uniforms to the drop-off points and the times below.

Thank you!
